A warm welcome to our wonderful school.

I am delighted to be joining Wyvern Academy as Principal. I have been teaching Science for over 20 years and been in senior leadership posts for the last 13 years. Having worked in Manchester and North Lincolnshire, I have much experience of leading changes in a variety of schools to improve outcomes for students. I have done this through rigorous use of data to identify interventions but also through safeguarding and supporting individuals in need within my current role as inclusion lead.

I cannot wait to join the team and further develop the ‘excellence in all that we do’, creating opportunities both within and outside of the classrooms so that all the students feel well supported and able to move onto the next steps with confidence. I look forward to starting work with families, staff and students to maintain the high academic standards and expectations that Ofsted recognised in 2023.

With the support of the trust, I am excited to be part of developing the whole child, through academic, social and emotional learning opportunities that will allow them to develop into excellent members of society.
