We are keen to develop links with local employers
In order to give our students work related learning experience throughout their five years at Wyvern we work closely with the Tees Valley Combined Authority to identify events and activities that will allow pupils to gain a better understanding of the work of work.
Our Careers Convention, held annually in the autumn term, is an opportunity for employers to meet students individually and discuss suitable opportunities with them.
Wyvern Academy would like to strengthen its link with employers to raise aspirations and attainment, supporting our students to achieve their full potential.
As an employer, you can help us give our students the opportunity to learn about work, employment and the skills that are valued in the workplace.
We are looking for employers who can:
- Deliver career talks in assemblies or classroom
- Give inspirational presentations/speech
- Offer work experience placements to students
- Offer a workplace visit
